I began sailing thanks to my parents, who both loved the sport and even met while racing each other. Growing up surrounded by the ocean in the Cayman Islands, I was introduced to sailing at a young age, and it quickly became more than just a hobby - it was part of who I was. From racing at local events to competing alongside friends, I found a passion and community that fueled my dream. Those early days on the water with family and friends laid the foundation for what would eventually become my Olympic journey.

My achievements include:

  • Winner of the Ministry of Youth, Sports & Heritage Sports Award Making Waves Awards 2024

  • Olympic Qualification for Paris 2024 - Representing the Cayman Islands in the Women’s Single-Handed Dinghy First Place U19 Female at British Nationals 2022 - Following The Hague World Championships

  • Silver Medal at British Nationals (2021) - Weymouth, Olympic sailing venue.

  • Leading the Cayman Islands team at this prestigious event; the Pan American Games Qualification (2023) and securing a spot to represent the Cayman Islands at the Pan-am Games, qualifying through North American and Caribbean competitions.

  • 4th at Central American.

I’m currently serving as the President of Fal Sail, the University of Exeter’s sailing society,

where I lead and organise activities to promote sailing among students. I’m also competing in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) sailing events,

balancing leadership with training and competition. This role allows me to stay actively involved in the sport, connect with other passionate sailors, and mentor new members while representing my university. Looking ahead, I plan to continue competing internationally and inspire others in the sailing community as I work towards my goal of qualifying for future Olympic Games.

I am passionate about giving back to my community, especially by inspiring young Caymanian sailors. I hope to offer mentorship, organise workshops, and promote the values of resilience and sportsmanship that I’ve learned on my journey, aiming to help others pursue their dreams in sailing and beyond.
