I started my academic journey with homeschooling which provided a solid foundation that nurtured my love for learning. My dedicated parents were my first educators instilling the values of discipline, curiosity, and perseverance in me and my siblings. This early education set the stage for my academic achievements, allowing me to excel at the University College of the Cayman Islands and later at Samford University for my Master’s degree. Their encouragement and support were pivotal, and I am honored to continue making them proud through my professional and community contributions.

Throughout my journey, I have received multiple awards including the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Highest Achiever awards, and UCCI’s Class Valedictorian 2021. At UCCI, I consistently made the President’s List and graduated summa cum laude. Additionally, I was privileged to represent the Cayman Islands and UCCI in the CFA Research Challenge for the 2019-2020 year where my team won the Atlantic Region round. At Samford University, I was selected as one of twelve students to manage the Bulldog Investment Fund for the Spring 2023 semester where we managed a portfolio worth over $3 million.

Currently, I am working as a Valuations Analyst at Ernst & Young, where I leverage my academic background in business and finance. Beyond my professional role, I continue to actively be a part of, and assist with youth programmes in my community through my church’s Adventist Youth programme and Vacation Bible School. Moving forward, I aim to deepen my impact by pursuing further qualifications in finance and economics while continuing to be a part of community outreach programmes. I am currently studying and planning to pursure the CFA credentials. I hope to further use my qualifications to train others in finance and economics and inspire others to reach for their goals.

An interesting fact about me is that I am an avid musician and perform with my siblings, playing the violin. Additionally, in my free time I play football and I was a part of the U-20 Cayman Islands Women’s National Football Team and Senior Team. My goal is to continue to work hard to inspire others and to use the skills that I’ve gained to give back to my community.
