Keya has demonstrated her considerable academic prowess all the way through school, having attended First Baptist Christian School before Triple C where she received many awards. In fact, Keya has been a top performer since Kindergarten.

Recently, Keya has been making plans for her college experience, adding a number of Advanced Placement subjects to her academic successes. An attentive and eager student, Keya leads by example and her teachers say she is a role model for her peers and is rapidly carving a niche for herself as one of Cayman’s future leaders.

A devoted Christian, Keya is a member of her school’s Key Club and Yes Club and she sets high expectations for herself, both in academics and extra-curricular activities, working incredibly hard to achieve her goals. Keya was also selected to participate in the Chamber of Commerce Mentor Cayman programme in the 2018-2019 programme.

In addition to her outstanding academic success, Keya is also very accomplished in athletics, having represented Triple C School in rugby, netball and football throughout her high school years.

She has been a member of Academy SC for many years, has competed in the U16 and U18 leagues for the Cayman Islands Football Association, and was chosen to represent the Cayman Islands in the CONCACAF U17 tournament in 2019.

Keya intends that her academic path will lead her to eventually qualifying as a pharmacist.
